A unique new band that consists of a veritable dream team of diverse players, and we’re fortunate to have them call San Pancho their home.  While this quartet is a “local” group, Humberto, one of the two “Bertos”,  is actually the only Mexican in the group.  He contributes superb flamenco style nylon string guitar playing, and excellent vocals, to their eclectic, but totally engaging repertoire.

The other “Berto,”  Rob hails from Pennsylvania, and is a superb guitarist albeit with a bluesier style, with elements of jazz sprinkled throughout his solos.  As another of the vocalists in the band, Rob’s smoky vocals add a great contrast to the pristine but powerful vocals of Nina.

From France, Nina is a gifted singer, and when she isn’t singing lead, she adds the perfect harmonic touch to the group’s original arrangements of tunes that you may have heard before, but never with such a unique treatment.  Their version of Billy Jean is one of the most original renditions yet!

Two new members round up the Colectivo, and together they add a unique dimension to this year’s Music Festival.  They have made their mark distinctive in the Riviera Nayarit region, with a sizeable following that resonate to their sonic offerings.  We are pleased to welcome the group back to the Festival in 2014.
