Joe Hadlock is a musician/producer/composer now living in San Pancho who has worked for 40 years in the music and recording business. He designed and built the now famous Bear Creek Recording Studio on a farm near Seattle in the late 70’s where he worked with many artists including Eric Clapton, Lionell Ritchie, The Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, James Brown, Heart, Bill Frisell, The Seattle Symphony, and many more. Joe’s son and partner, Ryan Hadlock who has brought groups to record in San Pancho, is now running Bear Creek and was nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2011 for producing the #1 album for the The Lumineers. Joe produced many records and composed tv and film soundtracks as well as designed and built recording studios in London, New York, and Seattle.
Singer, musician, multi instrumentalist, producer, engineer, voiceover talent, arranger, comedian, and part-time Guru, Gary “Garito” Lanz defies categorization. But he’s flying in to San Pancho to play bass & guitar for Joe Hadlock’s Garage Entourage. So let’s not ask too many questions. Just enjoy the moment.
Joe Hadlock and Gary Lanz have worked together in the studio on hundreds of TV and film soundtracks, records, commercials and live recordings over many decades.
Karina Burkhanova is a young Russian artist who graduated from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. She has collaborated on different musical projects with her violin. Currently, at her studios in Guadalajara & Puerto Vallarta, she is working on and producing her own music, which includes her voice and piano. Karina Burkhanova and Joe Hadlock have been composing and recording original music for the past 3 years.
Humberto Ortiz Ruiz, one of San Pancho’s favorite artists, will be playing percussion and guitar.
