Moonset Acustico is a cover band of English and Spanish songs, whose genres span r&b, soul, reggae, pop and Latin rhythms. The band was created in September of 2017 in Hermosillo, Sonora and is formed by Ambar Carvajal and Francisco Trujillo.

Ambar, the singer, has been developing her singing ability since she was five years old in the choir of the church.  Over the years she continued to perform in several choirs as a soprano vocalist.  It was not until a year ago that she began to dedicate herself to music as a profession.  Recently Ambar came to San Pancho to work as a musician, thanks to the invitation of her friend Francisco Trujillo, known by all as Panchito.

As the guitarist and singer of the band,  Francisco has been living in San Pancho for 3 years.   He began playing guitar as a teenager, and over the years Francisco has played and mastered the bass in different rock and reggae bands in a variety of  cities.  He has always had the interest in being a singer, but it was not until 2016 that Francisco began to sing during his performances.

We welcome Moonset in their debut performance at this year’s 18th Music Festival!
